The story behind Phlecs

Phlecs® is a Dutch start-up that aims to break new ground in dermatology treatments by addressing the unmet needs of patients with inflammatory skin conditions in a new, cost-effective, and safe way.

Based on 15 years of clinical and technical research, our journey started with a team of former Philips Healthcare employees who combined their expertise in photo dermatology with one domain expert to create Phlecs.

We are proud to offer a proprietary full-body Phlecs Blue LED Therapy platform that provides a clinically proven safe, gentle¹, and effective ^2-10 method to treat inflammatory skin conditions without the side effects of medication or risks related to Ultra-Violet (UV) therapies ^1-11. An innovative solution for dermatology patients of all ages and skin tones offering relief without downtime, drugs, or chemicals.

Our highly skilled team has a proven track record of developing and commercializing photo therapy medical devices in the EU and the US and is committed to helping improve skin patients´ well-being.
